Founded by Nashville songwriter and bandleader Jay Bragg in 2020, A Songwriter’s Christmas has become a holiday tradition all over the country over the last 4 years. Curated to be a fun alternative to the countless holiday concerts recycling the same old standards, A Songwriter's Christmas showcases new and original Christmas music and stories (in addition to some of the classics we all love) written by Bragg and his songwriter friends.

The 2024 A Songwriter's Christmas makes its return to Brooklyn, NY with a return to Skinny Dennis on 12/12 and will feature local guest artists and the world premier of King Kazoo & The Reindeer Band - the North Pole based swingin’ band of joy commissioned by Santa Claus himself to spread an extra dose of Christmas cheer this year.

Presented by the philanthropic Gift of Music Project and keeping with the giving spirit of the holiday season, a portion of ticket sales will be allocated to giving gifts of musical instruments to children living in poverty for Christmas.
