North of Amarillo is dedicated to reviving and reinterpreting the songs of country music's Queens and Outlaws. Fronted by Kelli Scarr, whose powerhouse vocals channel Wanda Jackson and Kitty Wells, the band features Luca Benedetti and Jason Loughlin on guitar and Scott Colberg on bass, and on September 25, they'll be joined by drummer Chris Parker. Together, they evoke the irresistible groove of Emmylou Harris & the Hot Band, delivering a sound that’s both danceable and inspiring, and guaranteed to get everyone moving.
