Tony Hannah is a singer-songwriter based in California w/ roots originating in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee where she was influenced by rich Appalachian music. She occasionally saw Dolly Parton perform at Dollywood, and soon after started singing and learned to play the fiddle. She reinvents the nostalgic sounds of 1970's folk and country music for a modern audience while bridging styles from country, folk, and americana music. Tony Hannah's sound is best compared to artists like Kate Wolf, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt. She performs live as a solo act and often with a three-piece band that fully brings her songs to life.
